Write a story... go on!

Do you think you have what it takes to write a science news story? Are you younger than Justin Bieber? Do you have access to a device that can send electronic messages over the internet?

Yes? Then read on.

If you see something interesting and sciencey, write about it, send it in and we'll publish it. Probably.

Here's what you need to do:
  1. Write something. We recommend 200-400 words. The only rules are that your story has to be science news and it has to be in your own words. Try to include links (web addresses) to any sources you use and to any cool images or videos you find. Don't worry too much about fancy pants formatting. We'll do that for you.
  2. Email it to deathrayscience@gmail.com. Include your name, age and school or club. We'll accept any document format, as long as we can read it. You can also just write or copy the story straight into the email.
  3. We'll check your story out and maybe do a bit of editing to make it look nice and professional. If we make any major changes we'll send it back to you to make sure you still want it published.
  4. We'll publish it on the site.
  5. BAM! You are totally a science journalist. Tell everyone you know and bask in the well-deserved glory.
You remain the copyright holder of your story. This means that if someone else wants to publish your story they have to ask you. But if you want to put your stories on your blog or Facebook or wherever, go for it. Also, if you want your story removed, let us know and we'll delete it.

You and I both know that if you've read this far you are busting to write something, so what are you waiting for? There's no time like the future!

What does that even mean?
